Instrument-Specific Group Classes

We have two types of instrument-specific group classes: Core and Specialty. Our Core program is where you’ll learn the foundations of your instrument and then build steadily on those skills. In Specialty classes, we focus on a specific skill or genre/artist. Specialty classes are for intermediate to advanced players.

Group Class Policies

  • What’s the scoop? We have six 8-week sessions each year. During each session we offer over 200 classes, each one running 7 or 8 weeks depending on holidays.
  • Changed your mind? We allow our students to drop their class with a full refund BEFORE the first class has begun.
  • What if I need to drop it like it’s hot? If the class has already started, you have before the start of the 3rd class to drop or transfer into another class. If you choose to drop the class after it’s begun, refunds are not available. However, your account will receive a prorated credit, good for one year.
  • What if this isn’t the class for me? You can also choose to transfer into a different class. Students often do this if they find they need to be in a different class level or a separate class altogether (i.e. move from a core to a specialty).
  • And if I’m late to the party? You can register for classes up until the 3rd week of each session. However, prorated prices are not available for students that choose to enroll after the class has begun.
