Open Jam Sessions

Let’s jam! The Julie Davis School of Music at Swallow Hill offers donation-based weekly open jam sessions, as well as monthly genre-specific jams from bluegrass to jazz and much more.

Open jams at Swallow Hill have been a tradition dating back to our beginnings as part of the Denver Folklore Center in the 1960s.

To keep our jam sessions going, we ask that attendees consider contributing a suggested donation of $5-10 to directly support our teachers and music school. Donate online here or in-person with cash at the jam.

Have questions about an upcoming open jam session?
We’re happy to help – email us at info@swallowhillmusic.org.
