Swallow Hill Music started our Endowment Fund to ensure overall financial stability for our future. An endowment is a permanent savings account made up of donations, and the interest from our Endowment Fund will be used to further our mission by supporting any project or program within the organization. Donating to our Endowment Fund means that you are supporting our programming for many years to come!
Including Swallow Hill Music in your will or estate plans allows us to ensure the sustainability of our programming while enabling you to support us beyond your lifetime. Did you know the IRS has expanded tax benefits to help individuals and businesses give to nonprofit organizations like Swallow Hill in 2021? As you may know, individuals who elect to take the standard deduction cannot ordinarily claim a deduction for their charitable contributions. The law now permits these individuals to claim a limited deduction ($300 for individuals and $600 for married couples filing jointly) on their 2021 federal income tax returns for cash contributions made to certain qualifying charitable organizations. Donations made to Swallow Hill are tax-deductible to the extent of the law. Please consult your tax advisor to ensure you qualify.
