We love this time of year here at Swallow Hill Music. Our Little Swallows seem more joyful than ever, ukulele classes are jamming out to holiday classics, and our Friday afternoon Musical Memories classes held in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association are filled with laughter. As a non-profit, we rely on your support and generosity of the  community to make what we do possible. Thank you for every time you’ve chosen to show your love for us!

During this season of giving, we’ve decided to go big: we want to raise $25,000 before we reach the New Year. This challenge that we’ve set ourselves up for would be impossible without our community of dedicated supporters – that means you!

Donations are accepted and encouraged throughout the rest of the year. Simply click here to donate to our General Fund to support help us:

  • Make 72,000 music connections through Little Swallows pre-schools, K-12 public schools and music therapy programs;
  • Provide more need-based scholarships than ever before for students of all ages who are eager to take music classes;
  • Bring Music Therapy programs to organizations working with Veterans and our Aging populations across the metro area.

However, there’s another way for you to give: Colorado Gives Day.

On Tuesday, December 10th, partake in one of the largest one-day giving movements in the US by donating to Swallow Hill Music (along with other Colorado nonprofits). Since 2010, this day of giving has raised over $217 million for organizations. You can show your support on this day and you can choose to schedule your donation now by clicking here, or you can join us on Tuesday, 12/10 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm at Illegal Pete’s DU as 10% of the evening proceeds will go to Swallow Hill.

$25,000 is a goal we can achieve with your support. Please remember Swallow Hill Music as you give to others!

Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, December 10th. You can schedule donations on their website starting Friday, November 1st.

Swallow Hill Music will be at Illegal Pete’s DU (1744 East Evans Avenue) on December 10th from 5-9pm.

For other ways to give or for larger donations, please contact Sara Doerflein, Development Director (sara@swallowhillmusic.org or 303-468-1890).

Music lovers work on a song at a Musical Memories class at Swallow Hill Music. The class is presented in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association as part of Swallow Hill’s Community Outreach Programs.
