About the Artist(s)
Thunder and Rain is a four-piece new grass band from Nashville, Tennessee. Touring and recording since 2014, the band delivers high-energy performances full of melodic hooks and grassy drive. Founding member Erinn Peet-Lukes (guitar, vocals) is joined by Amelia Ransom (fiddle) and Laura Ray (banjo), with rotating guest bassists. Their sound combines bluegrass instrumentation with pop and rock song structures, rich three-part harmony, and skillful picking. Peet-Lukes has earned national recognition for her songwriting at Kerrville Folk Fest, Merlefest, and the IBMA Songwriter Showcase.
