About the Artist(s)
THE GROCERY STORY, an 8-piece powerhouse from Fort Collins, Colorado, founded by New Orleans legends John Magnie & Steve Amedee of the "Subdudes". Their new album, Situation on Aisle #3, is a sonic journey—Saturday night rock & roll meets Sunday morning revival, with six phenomenal vocalists driving home the emotion and energy.
One of the featured vocalists is Rhonda Merrick, from the Louisiana Family of "Rockie Charles" Merrick, The "President of Soul", (Check out "Plaquemines Parish").
From the swampy storytelling of Plaquemines Parish to the New Orleans parade beat of Big River, and the soulful gospel groove of Stick With Love, this album brings theatrical depth, stellar musicianship, and a big, joyful noise."
