Liz Barnez: A Journey Through Song

With over 35 years as a touring performing songwriter, Liz Barnez has etched her name into the heart of the music scene. Born and raised in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Liz began her musical journey at the tender age of 17, captivating audiences in clubs and festivals with her soulful sound and heartfelt lyrics.

After moving to Fort Collins, Colorado, Liz continued to hone her craft, writing, recording, and performing across the region. Her dedication and talent did not go unnoticed; in November 2019 , she was proudly inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame as a member of the celebrated group “The Mother Folkers.”

Liz’s impact on the music community has been recognized multiple times. She was honored as the “Best Female Singer/Songwriter” by her peers through the Fort Collins Musicians Association(FoCoMA) and received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016, celebrating her significant contributions to the local music landscape.

With a career marked by passion and perseverance, Liz Barnez continues to inspire and connect with audiences, sharing her love of music one song at a time.

Brad Colerick's songs seep into your heart with a single listen, and his red-hot band will put some fire in your tank. The Los Angeles-based, Nebraska native built a successful career making music for commercials where he wrote and produced tunes recorded by BB King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Cash, and other musical icons, earning him a Regional Emmy Award among other accolades. His albums land firmly in the Americana wheelhouse with appearances by Chris Hillman, Herb Pedersen, Suzy Bogguss, and April Verch. Billboard Magazine called him “One of a baker’s dozen of acts to watch in the folk community around the world.” Associated Press said "Colerick's stories are worth hearing… His warm, sunny, homey tenor brings alive the characters, places and relationships in these 11 songs.” He’ll be joined by bandmates Ron Lynam on fiddle, banjo and pedal steel guitar. Julie Lynam on bass and harmony vocals, and Tim Gauthier on electric guitar, mandolin and harmony vocals.
