About the Artist(s)

Michael O’Connor is a guitarist, singer and songwriter living in Washington State. For decades he has performed and recorded with musicians including Ray Wylie Hubbard, Slaid Cleaves, Adam Carroll, Susan Gibson, Terri Hendrix, and Jeff Plankenhorn. A lifetime of hard-won experiences has allowed Michael a rare insight into the world of the rough, the faithless, the romantic, and the unlucky, all of whom find refuge in his songs. Michael has toured throughout the United States and overseas, performing in esteemed venues and festivals. In June 2010, Michael was inducted into the South Texas Music Walk of Fame in Corpus Christi, Texas, with a star bearing his name. He has released eight albums and is continuing to release new music.

Jason McIntyre is a singer-songwriter inspired by the music of the great rock and roll bands of the 60’s and 70’s, the famed Texas Troubadours, and the great blues legends. McIntyre has released 4 albums to date. The Rustlanders self-titled debut album in the early 2000’s led to touring opportunities with the likes of Ryan Bingham and Grace Potter. Now residing in Austin, TX

McIntyre continues to write and perform with friend and collaborator Michael O’Connor. In addition to song writing and performance, McIntyre teaches various instruments and songwriting for Swallow Hill Music in Denver, CO while also working with Challenge America as part of a music therapy songwriting program addressing and treating PTSD in military veterans.
