Summer vacation may be over, but music lovers need not fear as concerts return to Swallow Hill Music with a vengeance this September and October.

Our star-studded early fall lineup features the likes of Shemekia CopelandOver the RhineBonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Iron & WineHayden Pedigo, and many more. So pick out your favorite cardigan, fire up the group chat, and head on down to Swallow Hill!

For over 45 years Swallow Hill Music has presented the finest Americana, folk, and roots artists from Colorado and beyond. We present artists in intimate and comfortable listening room environments with great sound and everyone gets a seat.
In addition to these well established stars, a highlight of the fall lineup is a series of collaborations and co-bills including:

– Get ready to rock out on Sunday, September 14 at 7 pm for a shot of blue-infused guitar paired with Outlaw Country from Eric Johanson and Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts.

– Veteran singer-songwriter Peter Mulvey, now in his fourth decade of touring, pairs up with Fort Collins-based songsmith Nathaniel Riley for a night of profound and fervent story songs. Peter and Nathan perform on Sunday, October 5 at 7 pm.

– Salomé Songbird and Rakish are up-and-coming acoustic bands that are taking bluegrass, Appalachian folk, and Celtic music into exciting new territories without forsaking their grounding in tradition. This concert takes place on Sunday, October 12 at 7 pm.

In October, two concerts with seasonal themes come to the fore. On Saturday, October 11 at 8 pm, we are proud to present A Harvest Gathering from Planina, a group that specializes in traditional and contemporary folk music from Eastern Europe. The concert will present music and traditions from the harvest season as people turn away from outside work and gather together for inside festivities. On Sunday, October 26 at 7 pm, it’s the return of Halloween Songs & Stories from local musicians Niki and Luke Tredinnick and Barry Osborne. The trio will explore the season musically via traditional tunes and old-time ballads, as well as popular songs by more recent artists.

As a nonprofit, ticket purchases to Swallow Hill concerts support the organization’s mission of bringing more music to the Denver metro community through concerts, music classes, and preschool music programs.

Thank you for supporting live music in Denver with Swallow Hill!
