  • By registering for a class or lesson, you give permission for any image of the Participant to appear in photographs, electronic images, video, or audio used for promotional or editorial purposes by Swallow Hill Music or our partner organizations, at any time in any place.
  • If you would like to not be included in promotional materials, please email info@swallowhillmusic.org to arrange this.

Code of Conduct

Swallow Hill Music is committed to providing a professional, friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone (staff, students, volunteers, and patrons) regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, or religion.

  • Refunds are not available for missed classes within a session (whether or not the teacher and SHM are notified of the absence).

Workshops

  • If a workshop is cancelled by Swallow Hill Music, students will receive a full refund.
  • Students may receive a full refund if the workshop is dropped at least 24 hours before the start time. No-shows and cancellations within less than 24 hours will not receive a refund.

A la Carte Private Lessons

  • If an a la carte private lesson is cancelled by Swallow Hill Music, students will receive a full refund.
  • Students may cancel a private lesson at least 24 hours before the lesson to reschedule or receive an account credit. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours will not receive a refund. Students who no-show two times in a row will be removed from future lessons and will need to contact our front desk to get scheduled again.

Recurring Private Lessons

  • If a recurring private lesson is cancelled by Swallow Hill Music, students will receive a full refund.
  • Students may cancel a private lesson at least 24 hours before the lesson to reschedule or receive a refund. No-shows and cancellations within less than 24 hours will not receive a refund.
  • If a student needs to cancel a lesson, that cancellation must be more than 24 hours in advance of the lesson to receive a refund. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours will not receive a refund. Students who no-show two times in a row will be removed from future lessons and will need to contact our front desk to get scheduled again.
  • If you need to change your recurring private lesson time or day, give us a call. We’ll do our best to find another time and day that will work for you. This will be at the discretion of the teacher’s schedule and space availability.
  • To cancel your scheduled private lesson, please call us at 303-777-1003 or email info@swallowhillmusic.org. You are guaranteed a refund if you give us 24 hours notice on your cancellation. If it is the day of your lesson and you are sick or are experiencing a personal emergency, you may still receive a refund if you let us know about these circumstances while canceling your lesson. Refunds for lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice are given on a case-by-case basis.
    • If you cancel three recurring lessons in a row, our staff will reach out to discuss your recurring private lesson schedule. We reserve the right to cancel your lessons if you miss three or more consecutive lessons, out of fairness to our students and our instructors.

        • If you have extenuating circumstances that will result in an extended absence, please let us know as far in advance. In certain circumstances, we can work something out.
        • Additionally, students that are going to miss a month’s worth of lessons but don’t want to lose their spot will still keep one or two (depending on lesson cadence) lessons booked in order to retain their recurring lesson slot.

    Online Classes and Lessons

    • All classes and lessons designated as “online” are given on the Zoom platform. Users must download Zoom to be connected with their Instructor at https://zoom.us. If you have any questions, please email info@swallowhillmusic.org.
    • Online group classes must meet minimum enrollment to run. You will receive a notification the day before if the class is cancelled.
    • A separate email with the Zoom link for your class will be emailed to you the week of your class.
    • Recurring Private Lesson Zoom links are the same for each week. If you need the link to be resent, please email info@swallowhillmusic.org.
    • Please add info@swallowhillmusic.org and no-reply@configio.com (our registration system) to your accepted sender list to make sure you don’t miss a message from us!
    • If you don’t receive the Zoom information, please check your Promotions or Spam folder.
