Heather Howerton is Swallow Hill’s new Marketing Director. She is joining us as we prepare to once again open our doors for in-person concerts, classes, workshops and more.
Our CEO Paul Lhevine is thrilled Heather is coming on board to lead dynamic marketing for the organization. “Heather is steeped in music and has an amazing set of skills that will drive our work forward. Her experiences in our broader community will further enhance the diversification and expansion of our programmatic efforts.”
Heather joins Swallow Hill from the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce where she was Director of Strategic Marketing and Operations. At CWCC Heather was part of a vision-oriented team where she oversaw marketing, and led the creation of educational opportunities through program development and events, supported fundraising, and played a key role in continually engaging their community.
“Music has the power to bring people together, create community, and opportunities. I am excited to bring my passion for music, my skills, and excitement to this role and grow Swallow Hill’s impact in the community,” Heather shared with us.
Last week Swallow Hill announced that it was the recipient of a $2.2 Shuttered Venue Operators Grant from the Small Business Administration. Heather also joins a growing number of new hires including Alicia “Bruce” Trujillo, who started as Concert Director earlier this month, and three Customer Service Associates who started earlier this summer. The organization is currently interviewing three more positions to add to our Development, Concert and Community Outreach teams.
Heather brings to the Swallow Hill Marketing Department a background in technology marketing where she has demonstrated the value of leveraging metrics and Key Performance Indicators to track towards intended success.
“My success with marketing and communications will allow me to engage with this diverse Swallow Hill community in unique and creative ways be it in person, online, over social media, in email, the press, and more,” Heather told us.
Heather begins at Swallow Hill on Thursday, August 5th. Please join us in welcoming her!
