The world is so chaotic. Social media companies say we’re connected but we’re often alone.
As a non-English immigrant who moved to the USA, I understand how it feels to be in a room full of people and still feel unheard. So I started writing music to connect. I write music now, that allows people to feel understood. And it seems to be working because the music has been played tens of millions of times.” – Vian Izak
About Phillip James
Phillip James likes to sing and play the guitar. Like the mountains in whose shadows he grew up, his sung stories reach deep into dark places. Currently based in Denver, he hopes to light small comforting fires that illuminate the familiar shadowy places and make a space for us to huddle close and be less scared.
