About Tonewood String Band
Tonewood String Band is an original psychedelic bluegrass band based in Denver, CO. Founded in 2021. Tonewood emphasizes heartfelt original songwriting, powerful vocal harmonies, and heady instrumental jams over a driving progressive bluegrass backbone. The group consists of George Sepmeier (Violin, Mandolin), Evan Shely (Guitar), Elijah Donovan (Banjo), Matt Thomas (Upright Bass) and Steve Lisi (Percussion). Tonewood is rising fast in the Colorado bluegrass community, having shared stages with notable local and national acts including The Fretliners, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Twisted Pine, among many others. They made festival debuts at Tico Time Bluegrass Fest, and Palisade Bluegrass and Roots festival in 2024. They recently completed a successful Kickstarter campaign and are currently recording their first full length album with plans to release it in Fall 2025.
About Foggy Mountain Spaceship
Foggy Mountain Spaceship was founded in 2023 by Chris Elliott and Kyle Ussery. The band features a unique lineup of all banjo instruments including 5-String banjo, Banjo bass and synthesizers, as well as the banjo drum kit. The band performs original compositions, unexpected covers, psychedelic instrumentals and more.
