Swallow Hill Open Mic

Open mics are held every second Thursday in our Quinlan Cafe – all performers are welcome! Bring your instrument, voice, or just yourself to perform whatever creative material you’ve been working on in a fun, welcoming community environment.
PERFORMERS AND ATTENDEES, PLEASE READ BELOW AS OUR OPEN MIC PROCESS HAS CHANGED:
- Doors open & sign-ups start at 6 pm. Sign-ups are in-person and first come, first serve.
- Sign-ups now operate on a lottery system: When you sign up, your name will be entered into a bucket and drawn at random. The host will announce each performer drawn and the performer must be present at the time their name is drawn to perform.
- Each performer will get approximately 5-7 minutes of stage time. That can vary depending on the open mic and how many people sign up to perform, so please plan for a 6 minute set as a safe bet.
- $5 Suggested Donation: Donate online at this link or bring cash in-person.
- Our setup includes a mic, keyboard, and ability to plug in an instrument
