All Top of the Hill performers teach group classes and private lessons year-round at Swallow Hill. Students of all experience levels are welcome to make music at Swallow Hill’s music school. Please check out our current offerings here!
Friends of Ed
My desire was to put a band together who could play various functions easily, who are very talented and can play lots of different styles of music, and who are nice folks and dear friends!” Together since last summer, Friends of Ed have played a summer festival in Centennial, and a few small local gigs, and are very excited to play at Swallow Hill! Led by percussionist Ed Contreras, the band consists of his son, Berklee College of Music grad, vocalist and bassist Josiah Contreras; vocalist and pianist Maggie O’Donnell, guitarist, mandolinist and vocalist Matt Carlson, and vocalist and viola player David Knapp. If you like a mixture of folk, R&B, pop, world music and Americana, with 4 part harmonies and great instrumentals, this is the band for you!

Piano/Guitar Duo
A Folk/Jam/Rock/Bluesy Acoustic duo playing the best covers and originals. Both musicians are long time Colorado performers and teachers and are on the faculty at Swallow Hill Music Association. The group has a big sound for two players and loves to perform. Having fun and making everyone smile is at the top of the setlist.
