Boasting a diverse four albums and many miles under her belt, Barnes is a seasoned singer-songwriter who continues to build grassroots following from city to small town, one new believer at a time. Her songs have garnered her spots on national stages, including a trip to the highly coveted Kerrville Folk Festival, 2024 Acorn Songwriter Contest Finalist and headlining a sold-out album release tour across the Northeastern US. Now based in Colorado, Barnes writes vivid songs of empathy, love and perseverance over lush melodies. There is a feeling one gets when witnessing something authentic and rare, and that aura permeates the room at an Emily Barnes show.
Texas-born singer-songwriter Joe Teichman takes this traveling troubadour thing seriously: he’s recently departed his Central Texas comfort zone for a new home base in Colorado, but he’s been finding ways to take his usually-solo-acoustic show on the road more or less nationwide for a couple of years now. With opportunities to share the stage with acts such as: Bryan White, Scotty Emerick, Jace Everett, Walt Wilkins, Susan Gibson, Josh Grider and Drew Kennedy, Teichman constantly tries to find new ways to connect his songs and the listeners.
