Swallow Hill Music teaches drums & percussion lessons in-person in Denver and online to adults, teens, and kids (ages 5+) of all levels, in a welcoming setting that supports your learning style.

We offer both fun group classes and private lessons for both drum set and various global hand percussion instruments for where you can learn from expert instructors who are among the best performing musicians in Denver.

Group Percussion Classes

Whether you are new to the bass or looking to expand your repertoire, our group classes provide a community environment to learn new skills and take your practice to the next level. Beginners can learn the basics of hand percussion instruments from all over the world in our core classes, and both hand percussion and drum set players can learn how to play in a band while playing some of their favorite tunes in our unique ensemble classes.

(Note: our group classes run in 8-week “sessions” through the year, so classes may already be running. Check to see when new classes will be posted here.)

Private Lessons for Drums & Percussion

Private lessons on both drum set and hand percussion are available for adults, teens and kids (5+) at any skill level for those looking for a one on one experience that will take their practice to the next level to improve their skill set.
