Between Two Banjos is back for 2018!

In this episode, Dustin and Barry discuss Tom Waits tribute band Lost Dog Ensemble, who play in Tuft Theatre on Friday, March 23. Then they talk about what makes Open Stage in Quinlan Cafe such great Swallow Hill tradition.

They also discuss a recent find in the archives – a 1966 Judy Collins concert program that provides a cool snapshot of the Denver and Front Range folk music scene at the time. The program also includes ads for (then) upcoming concerts by Skip James and Bob Dylan. You can read more about the program, and view images of it here.

Dustin and Barry also share what they’ve been listening to of late, including East London folk band Stick in the Wheel’s latest album, Follow Them True.

Finally, they talk about upcoming Denver concerts they are looking forward to, and in doing so discover they attended the same concert way back in 2008.

Thank you for watching Between Two Banjos, the Swallow Hill Music videocast.
