As senior advisor, community relations, Brandy is responsible for advancing Suncor’s U.S. business through strategic community engagement and external relations activities. A primary accountability in this role is overseeing Suncor’s U.S. social investment program, working collaboratively with partners to address community issues in a way that seeks solutions and benefits all.
Brandy has 25 years of experience helping organizations from the public, private and non-profit sectors leverage social investment, stakeholder relations and marketing communications strategies to achieve their purpose. Prior to Suncor, Brandy served in senior positions at Cohn Marketing and Schenkein Public Relations. She began her career in Florida working for the state’s official tourism marketing organization. Brandy serves on the Denver Public Schools Foundation’s Development Committee and is a past chair of the B:CIVIC Board of Directors. She also holds a Certificate in Corporate Citizenship Practice from Boston College.
Originally from Tallahassee, Brandy earned her degree in English Literature with a minor in Spanish from Florida State University. She is an avid mountain biker, yoga enthusiast and Phish fan, and resides with her family in Denver’s Highlands/Northside neighborhood.
