School Locations


Our main music school location is on Yale Avenue, and it has the largest variety of class times and instruments. Classes and lessons are available 7 days a week. There is parking in our lot at the southeast corner of Yale & Lincoln, and street parking is also available. Box office and school regsitration at our Yale location only.


We’ve been offering classes at our Lowry location since 2015. Located in the Colorado Free University building, this location has three classrooms and a welcoming lobby space. Parking is available in the lot off 1st Ave.

The Highlands

Our Highlands branch is located on the third floor of the Highlands United Methodist Church at 3131 Osceola St, Denver, CO 80212. We have two classrooms in this space, as well as a small lobby area with free wifi. Street parking is available.

Concert Venues

Daniels Hall

Named after former executive director, Chris Daniels, and his family whose generosity enabled Swallow Hill to purchase the Yale building in the late 90s. Daniels Hall is our largest venue at 71 E. Yale Ave. and has the capacity of 300 people. The hall is fully-seated.

Tuft Theatre

Tuft Theatre is named for Swallow Hill Music founder Harry Tuft. The room seats 100 patrons and hosts our monthly Old-Fashioned Hootenany, Best of Open Stage, and concerts. At our 71 E. Yale Ave. location.

Quinlan Café

Named for the late Jeff Quinlan, a loyal Swallow Hill Music board member and supporter, the remodeled Café seats 75 attendees in a casual environment at our main 71 E. Yale Ave. location. The Quinlan Café is home to events like Open Stage, Folk Music Karaoke, and our jams. In addition to a concert and meeting space, the Quinlan Café features a full bar, a coffee station, and snacks.

We host concerts all across the metro area, including Denver Botanic Gardens, Four Mile Historic Park, The Oriental Theater, L2 Church, and more!
