Our most powerful tool for self-care is one we carry with us all the time — our own voice. During this experiential workshop series, we’ll use our voices to release stress, reduce anxiety, promote mental well-being, and enhance creative intuition. We’ll learn and practice toning, non-religious chanting, mantra, vocal meditation, and improvisational singing for tension release. No singing or meditation experience is necessary. All voices are welcome.

The “Uke”, with its four nylon strings, is great for beginners – easier to learn than other stringed instruments, portable, affordable, and most importantly fun. Participants will learn the parts and history of the ukulele and will be strumming along to popular folk music songs in just one session. Swallow Hill will provide the ukuleles for each participant. Workshop can be customized for most all ages.

Our Percussion Workshop introduces participants to hand drums and percussion from all over the world. Participants learn basic hand technique, rhythm, and skills to play together as an ensemble! Swallow Hill will provide the instruments!

A music and movement class for pre-school-2nd grade students. This one-time class serves an introduction to music making using songs, creative movement, rhymes, percussion instruments and other fun activities. Swallow Hill Music will provide materials and instruments.
