February 19 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Every 3rd Sunday
This jam brings together folks to play music of various old-time repertoire and traditions. Though mostly centered around the Southern Appalachian region, in recent years artists from both sides of the Atlantic and beyond like Black Twig Pickers, Rhiannon Giddens with Francesco Turrisi, Anna & Elizabeth, and many more have demonstrated how old-time can exist and evolve in modern times. This music is most commonly played on acoustic guitars, banjos, and fiddles, however, all instruments are welcome. You are unique and special, come make music with us!
To keep jam sessions like this going, we ask that you consider contributing a suggested donation of $5-10 to directly support our teachers and music school. This will help us ensure offerings such as this will go on and on and on, just like a good jam should. Donate online here or in-person with cash at the jam.
