About Chris Sauthoff
Since 1990, I have been a professional musician who has traveled on the road with George Clinton, traversed India to learn Hindustani classical music and headed up my own acclaimed band, U.S. Pipe, in the Denver area. My approach in teaching students concentrates on technique, theory and practice to build the skills they need to be able to learn what they want to learn on their own. I believe in empowering students to have the tools to achieve their personal musical endeavors. The materials I use to instruct also incorporate social networking tools and other technology to make them as accessible to students as possible. All private lessons are tailored to the individual.
