Swallow Hill Music presents and produces many special Denver events and festivals throughout the year, including Ukefest (now in its 8th year), the Shady Grove Picnic Series at Four Mile Historic Park, and a street festival on Old South Pearl St. to name a few. Check out our upcoming special events and festivals below, plus learn about our other annual events!
The Denver Brew Fest will celebrate craft beverages from around Colorado and other U.S. microbrews and feature live local musicn, food, and more. Proceeds from this event benefit Swallow Hill Music.

Shady Grove Picnic Series at Four Mile Historic Park
Enjoy great live music in the fresh mountain air at the Shady Grove Picnic Series at Four Mile Historic Park.
Bring a picnic and your family and take part in this summer tradition that’s been happening for almost two decades.
Enjoy spectacular talent and an unrivaled outdoor ambiance at the UMB Bank Amphitheater and Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.
Concerts at the Clyfford Still Museum
Swallow Hill Music teams up with the Clyfford Still Museum in the summer to bring a series of free outdoor concerts in the museum’s forecourt.
35th Anniversary Celebration
On Saturday, October 11, Swallow Hill Music will celebrate the last 35 years, and look to the future with an Anniversary Event at the Paramount Theatre. Beginning at 6pm, our Music School will host a series of workshops, sing-a-longs, and student and faculty performances. The main event of the evening is a concert featuring singer-songwriters Josh Ritter with Brett Dennen at 7:30pm.
Make Music Denver – June 21, 2014
Make Music Denver is a FREE all-day music celebration with instruments for all to play, workshops for all to learn, and performances for all to enjoy. The day will feature a giant open stage, workshops, sing-a-longs, concerts, a live podcast, Swallow Hill Music’s Instrument Petting Zoo™, our Little Swallows and Little Mozarts classes, and more.
